Update February 2020: I bought a second pair of these since I liked the first pair and the lifting strap ripped out of the shoe the first time I wore them so I returned them. I’m super bummed because now I’m worried the first pair I have will do the same thing and I wouldn’t be able to return them now. Thought this would be useful for new buyers to consider.I have been looking for a pair of lifters for a while and just didn’t want to pay the prices for the Nike Romaleos, and I didn’t like the Adidas or Reebok that I tried. I found these and decided to try them out.I read so many reviews and still couldn’t be sure of which size to order so I went ahead and ordered my normal size 8. They came quickly and were packaged nicely. When I opened the box and tried them on they were too small. The toe box and width were great but they were just too short to keep so I had to return them. I have attached photos and one shows a comparison of these shoes with a pair of Nike Metcon 4’s size 8.So I ordered an 8.5. The size 8.5 are too big. The toe box and width are still great but the shoe is too long. Thankfully it’s not so much that I can’t accept it and wear them for my Olympic lifts anyways.I have worn them for a few lifts and they definitely help my form which will certainly improve the strength of my lifts. I am working on ankle mobility and these definitely help me with my squat form as well. I feel the arch support is perfect and I like the heel height a lot.I’m not sure I like the thin shoes laces as they tend to irritate me around the ankle but that’s probably just a personal preference.Overall I think it’s a pretty good shoe but the next time I need a pair of lifters, I’ll most likely buy a different brand. And, I’d recommend sizing up if you buy a pair.I do like these shoes, they have a great minimalist feel, especially when you remove the arch support, but I may be developing a bunion due to their width. If the shoe were a bit wider it'd be great, but for now I can only really recommend these shoes to people with narrow feet. Not for the average to slightly above average foot width. Will smush sides of feet after a while.Been doing CrossFit for 6 months and decided to finally invest in a decent pair of minimalist shoes for my workouts. However, I have wide (2E) feet, and none of the major brands offer wide minimalist shoes, so I had to do some research to find an alternative. I read online that these shoes were among the widest of minimalist trainers, so I went up half a size and ordered them. To my delight, they were actually wide enough and fit perfectly! I have done a few workouts in them, and I am extremely happy with the newfound range of motion and firm grip I have on the ground for lifts and body weight exercises. I'd highly recommend these to anyone with wide feet who wants to try minimalist shoes for working out.Fits well but quality was not satisfactory. Read the reviews and sized up half a size, they fit well. However, one of the shoes came creased and dirty on the front as if it has been used and returned. For the price, shoes should be in perfect condition. Will try to reach out to Amazon about this.Unreal shoe! I was squating with no shoes on for almost 2 years now. I am so glad I finally looked into fast lift Inov-8 after following a Favorite lifter of mine on Instagram. I'm 5'5- 127 pounds squating 260 with no shoes on. First day wearing the shoes, my partner asked me how they were. I totally forget I was even wearing shoes, I am so use to putting my shoes back on and off all the time , that when she asked me I forgot I was even wearing shoes !!!Now that day after is when I knew.... My glutes and hamstrings and quads I never felt such an amazing soreness in my life! I never changed my weight in lifting, still 260 4x4. Inov shoes puts Ur lift in all the right angles , that I could barely sit down and go to the bathroom they were so sore!!!End of discussion, buy these, you'll never regret it. They so fit wider for those who spread their toes when they lift. I got 7.5 size was bang on. To me these weren't expensive at all! Vibrant colors, feel awesomeWearing them, everyone looks at you like your a bad ass. And if you thought your lift were good before, just you wait . I am actually sad I never found these earlier. I could of improved my lifts months ago!Anyways hopes this helps! Happy buying and heavy lifting :)From the moment I put these on I loved them. You can tell with your first steps you walk differently than in typical sneakers. You truly feel every it of the ground beneath you. If you don't normally wear Minimalist shoes they will take a bit to get used to as muscles get used in your feet differently. I don't know that I would take them on longer runs but a three mile run feels great! Weight lifting and them is a game changer in that you really get your footing. Actually gives you a good amount of lateral support and cushioning. Fit like a glove. Not as light as the Merrell vapor gloves but seems more durable. Pandemic seems to have limited other companies so I gave these a try and I like them so far.I run 8-10 miles on the treadmill a week and walk about 40 miles a week.I am 225lbs and 5ft10 with feet just t barley wide enough to merit a wide size in normie shoes.I had been researching for days and days trying to find the perfect shoes and these are it! My workouts consist of deadlifts (of all types), squats (of all types), lunges, burpees, pushups, box jumps etc. and these shoes let me do all of them with comfort all while making my squats/deadlifts etc. form AMAZING! The instant I put them on I could feel a difference in my squats! If you need a flexible shoe with heels to help with squats these are it!!! They are so worth the money! Inov8 PLEASE PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP MAKING THESE SHOES THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!!!!As far as size goes, I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2 shoe but go up to a 9 in Asics for running shoes and the 9 fit perfect with the perfect amount of room for my toes!I got these a half size larger than what I usually wear. The toe box is wide so there's lots of room for your toes to wiggle. Handy when you're lifting really heavy weights and your feet push forward in the shoe. The laces are slightly too stretchy for my liking, but then again, I haven't gotten around to switching them and I've had these for months now! Its no secret I'm partial to neon but these are bright without being gaudy. If you want something a little different that does form and function, I'd highly recommend theseUnfortunately the first pair I ordered (4.5) were a tadge snug but the size 5 fit perfectly. So if you're like me and between sizes go for the upper size. There was no problem at all with exchanging them and the customer service was fantastic.I've now since used them and they're comfortable and also supportive which is what I neededThese have helped me increase my squat and are great for Olympic weightlifting. Colour is lovely and I get a lot of compliments on them!Really like these, feel a lot more comfortable in squats and jerks. Only issue is I ordered size 4 as that my size and are a little neat. Not too bad as only wear them for lifting, not other exercise but did burpees in them as part of a workout and my toes got a little sore. Also the laces are very long!Would recommendWife loves them. Provides a firm platform for squats with good support throughout. Also good for the rowing machine if you suffer with ankle mobility.
